Great article by Wendy Blight: How we can know God is with us

I couldn’t agree more that the Old Testament had new life when I read it knowing Jesus was there, always. I am loving the First5 app as it keeps teaching me new information about the same bible stories I grew up with whilst also drawing me into the Word. But the line that stuck: “Jesus and His Father laboured together to handcraft each and every created thing… Including you and me.” What a beautiful picture I have now of Them giving me each part of my personality and life. What an encouragement that even when I don’t know if I can cope, They know me better, I need only trust.

And then, on top of that, the Holy Spirit guides me. God is always with me, always, in every way. As Phil 4:13 says “I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength”. I loved the last line too “So whatever you are walking through today’s walk confidently, equipped and empowered, because Immanuel is with you every step of the way.”
