This is genre I never tire of reading, these two have earned their place amongst my favourites. Both are new authors for me and I pleased to have found them!
When love arrives by Johnnie Alexander
Unexpected as this story was, I thoroughly enjoyed When Love Arrives by Johnnie Alexander! Neither character is developed in their walk with Christ and both have serious baggage. The author handles this eloquently and with enough humour that is a good journey! I will be reading the upcoming novel for sure! I really enjoyed Brett’s multilayered character, I could relate to his self-doubt and found his courage inspiring.

Trust my heart by Carol J. Post
I loved this quick read and recommend Trust My Heart by Carol J. Post highly! The leading lady, Jami is a delight in this Christian romance and Grant is a gentleman of note…one who cooks no less! The setting of a small town near beautiful nature completes this lovely picture. With fleshed out support characters, a mystery and two cute dachshunds, I thoroughly enjoyed this pacy novel. The biblical truths are both gentle and effective. Forgiveness, justice and trust are wrestled with and numerous times I wanted to shake our lead characters and a few of our supporting cast (ahem…a certain orange-haired reporter!). I sincerely hope this is a start of a new series, I am so taken with this homely town. It’s a novel of realistic hope and I finished it in one go!
